Duitse Grand Prix juicht initiatief voor 'grid kids' toe

De organisatie van de Grand Prix van Duitsland vindt het een goed initiatief van Formule 1-eigenaar Liberty Media om voortaan geen 'grid girls' maar 'grid kids' neer te zetten op de startopstelling voor een race. Geen beeldschone vrouwen meer, maar jonge lokale karters die de kans krijgen om hun helden te ontmoeten. Een plan dat ze in Hockenheim van harte steunen.

Jorn Teske, marketingdirecteur bij de Hockenheimring, deelde aan Bild mede: "We waren vooraf geïnformeerd dat er een verandering aan zat te komen. We weten nog niet alle details van de exacte implementatie van het idee voor grid kids. En hoewel grid girls nog altijd zeer welkom zijn bij ons, heeft het plan voor grid kids zeker toegevoegde waarde. De Formule 1 heeft een nieuw en jonger publiek nodig. Als de grid kids daaraan kunnen bijdragen, dan is het een goede ontwikkeling."

Ook Mercedes-coureur Valtteri Bottas is niet rouwig om het verdwijnen van de pitspoezen. De Fin liet aan Ilta Sanomat weten: "Over het algemeen zijn grid girls altijd onderdeel geweest van de show, maar vanaf komend seizoen is daar geen sprake meer van. Door de jaren heen zijn er wel al races geweest waarbij grid girls ontbraken. Het positieve is dat we nu de dromen van kinderen om met Formule 1-coureurs op de grid te staan in vervulling laten gaan. Dat vind ik erg cool!"

  Omdat Bottas ook niet lekker in zijn stoeltje zit,zit er ook iets dwars bij hem,wat een eikel is dat en een saaie lul.

Als Bottas een mooie vrouw ziet loopt hij volgens mij heel hard weg..... Doet hem teveel aan lichamelijke inspanning denken.

Neen heren, de formule 1 heeft een publiek nodig die centen hebben, een ticket kunnen betalen, of een abonnement bij een betaalzender kunnen aanschaffen. Mensen die merchandise kunnen betalen en dergelijke dingen.. Neen heren, F1 is een sport voor mannen, die graag snelle auto's en mooie vrouwen zien!!

Dat nieuwe en jongere publiek ziet ook liever grid girls.

Grid kids is alleen leuk voor die kinderen zelf, maar geef die twintig jonge karters op de donderdag een gedegen rondleiding door de pits onder leiding van een goede gids. Daar hebben zij ook veel meer aan.
