Slechts drie rijders in eerste FIA-persconferentie van 2018

Het ziet ernaar uit dat het format voor de FIA-persconferenties in de aanloop naar Grands Prix opnieuw een wijziging heeft ondergaan. Voor de persconferenties van de internationale autosportbond in Australië zijn immers maar drie coureurs en drie teambazen uitgenodigd.

Vorig jaar moesten steeds zes rijders op komen draven voor de FIA-persconferentie op donderdag, verdeeld over twee groepjes van drie. Het ene trio nam dan binnen plaats achter de desk en beantwoordde vragen van de schrijvende pers, terwijl het andere trio buiten de cameraploegen te woord staan. Bij het begin van het seizoen 2018 is alles anders.

Voor de persconferentie van morgen zijn alleen regerend wereldkampioen Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), runner-up Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) en Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull Racing) opgeroepen. De persconferentie begint om 15.00 uur plaatselijke tijd, dat is 05.00 uur Nederlandse tijd.

Vrijdag nemen Maurizio Arrivabene (Ferrari), Toto Wolff (Mercedes) en Christian Horner (Red Bull Racing) plaats achter de diverse microfoons. Die persconferentie vangt aan om 14.00 uur plaatselijke tijd, dat is 04.00 uur Nederlandse tijd. De grote drie komen dus uitgebreid aan het woord.

Zowel na de kwalificatie als na de race houdt de FIA nog een persconferentie met de top drie uit de betreffende sessie.

      De 1ste rijders van Mercedes en Ferrari, omdat daarvan duidelijk is wie dat zijn.
      Van RBR is het niet 100% duidelijk, en daarom kiezen ze gewoon voor de Australiër in Australië.

    Jammer man. Ik kijk die dingen nooit als mijn rijder er niet bij zit. Terwijl als ik het perongelijk toch zie, ik het op zich niet eens zo slecht vind.
    Waarom niet van elk team 1 rijder... Dan heb je toch veel meer fans aan de buis hangen...
