Sam Bird heeft dit weekend de allereerste ePrix van Rome weten te winnen. De Brit moest in de slotfase van de race in de hoofdstad van Italië wel de aandringende Lucas di Grassi en Mitch Evans van het lijf houden, maar dat lukte. Bird had wel het geluk dat Felix Rosenqvist halverwege de wedstrijd uitviel. De Zweed was van pole position vertrokken en controleerde de race vooraan totdat een haperende auto roet in het eten gooide. Bekijk hier de samenvatting van de ePrix van Rome:
