Boete van 5.000 euro voor Force India na unsafe release

Niet voor de eerste keer dit seizoen heeft een team haar coureur met een niet goed vastzittend wiel de baan opgestuurd. In Barcelona was het wederom raak: deze keer waren Force India en Sergio Perez het slachtoffer. Perez zette zijn auto pas in de tweede sector stil, Force India vroeg de Mexicaan of hij terug kon keren naar de pits maar Perez besloot uit veiligheid zijn auto stil te zetten langs het circuit.

Na de tweede vrije training heeft de wedstrijdleiding bekend gemaakt dat Force India een boete van 5.000 euro ontvangt voor het onveilig op pad sturen van haar coureur. Omdat Force India niet meteen door had dat het wiel los zat, maar vervolgens wel alles gedaan heeft om een onveilige situatie te voorkomen krijgt Perez geen gridstraf.

Ik vind sowieso dat het team een boete moet krijgen voor de fout,en niet de coureur die middels een grid straf de pineut is.
