De 2018-editie van de Grand Prix van Monaco zal niet de boeken ingaan als de meest spectaculaire race ooit, maar dat doet niet af aan de topprestatie die Daniel Ricciardo leverde in het prinsdom. De Australiër wist de Grand Prix te winnen, ondanks problemen met zijn krachtbron.

Max Verstappen herstelde zich enigszins van zijn fout op zaterdag. Hij reed van de twintigste startplaats naar een negende stek aan de finish, waardoor hij alsnog twee punten mee naar huis neemt. Sebastian Vettel eindigde achter Ricicardo als tweede, Lewis Hamilton werd derde.
