Grosjean ziet toekomst in camerabril ondanks pijnlijke ervaring

Romain Grosjean denkt dat de camerabril een goede ontwikkeling is, ondanks dat de bril vooralsnog pijnlijk is om te dragen. De Fransman reed in Canada een ronde met de camerabril, maar na een installatieronde was het vanwege de pijn al klaar. Toch ziet Grosjean er toekomst in.

“Het was zeer pijnlijk", aldus Grosjean. "De bril past niet goed in de helm en je kunt ze eigenlijk alleen gebruiken voor een installatieronde. Toch vind ik het een gaaf idee, daarom stemde ik er ook mee in", vertelt de Haas-rijder.

"Wanneer je kijkt naar de beelden, dan zie je de daadwerkelijke snelheid van de auto, de bewegingen van het stuurwiel en de vibraties. Mensen kunnen echt ervaren wat we doen. Moderne camera's zijn zo goed en stabiel dat ze de vibraties op het circuit niet meer weergeven."

Volgens Grosjean is er een mooie toekomst weggelegd voor de uitvinding. "Je ziet veel meer. Ik hoop echt dat er wat bedacht wordt voor de helmen, want meer van dergelijke beelden zou echt geweldig zijn." Toch mag volgens de Fransman het ontwerp veranderen. "Er zijn verschillende opties, geïntegreerd in de helm bijvoorbeeld."

    gave beelden jammer dat ze van achter het vizier zijn daardoor heeft de camera zichtbaar moeite met scherpstellen.

    Hoop dat ze dit gaan integreren in de helm en dat je dan via F1 TV gewoon een extra scherm op kan zetten met je favoriete coureurs om mee te kijken.

    daarbij helpt het ook om te kunnen kijken bij incidenten of de betreffende coureur wel die kant op keek en het dus logischerwijs had kunnen zien :-).

    een gevecht op de baan, waar het om de knikkers gaat zal geweldig zijn om te mogen volgen in zulke beelden. Ik ben het eindelijk met Grosjean eensch!

    Vind er niets aan met die halo in beeld. Zeer irritant kijken zo.

    Kunnen ze niet een camera in die smalle steun plaatsen op dezelfde ooghoogte? Hebben we beter zicht als kijker dan de rijder.

      je ziet nu precies het zelfde als de rijder! Ziet er wel heel gaaf uit dit. ook gewoon het hele stuk waarbij hij in de garage stond. Echt mooie beelden vooral als je dan een herhaling krijgt bij een inhaal actie vanaf die beelden

      Ik vind het wel wat, net wat @Pacoramon zegt.. De vibraties die de coureur ervaart zie je terug en als de camera op de halo zit zie je dat niet @Erwinnaar.. maar ik ben het met je eens dat de halo het wel verprutst..

      Ik snap nu wel dat de coureurs er zelf weinig last van hebben. Want als je je kijk punt verlegt naar de volgende bocht zie je hem wel maar is ie oor je beeld niet storend
