Fernando Alonso laat motor wisselen: gridstraf nadert

McLaren-coureur Fernando Alonso is de zaterdag begonnen met een nieuwe krachtbron. De Spanjaard heeft voor aanvang van de derde training zijn derde motor van het seizoen laten monteren en bij een volgende wissel volgt er een gridstraf. In Oostenrijk pakte Alonso na een prima race met een start vanuit de pits een achtste plaats. Blijkbaar heeft de motor het daarbij zwaar te verduren gehad, aangezien de tweevoudig wereldkampioen de rest van het weekend rijdt zijn laatste reglementaire motor.

In Monza introduceert Renault een nieuwe specificatie van de motor, ook dat zal bij de door Renault aangedreven teams ongetwijfeld voor gridstraffen komen te staan. Vorig jaar pakte het team van Red Bull een reglementaire gridstraf in Monza om op die manier de rest van het seizoen uit te kunnen zingen met motoronderdelen.

    "De" motor bestaat niet. Welke onderdelen gaat het om? Voor sommige onderdelen geldt ook nog dat het maximum twee stuks is. Vrij onduidelijk dit.

      ICE en MGU-H. Hulkenberg een nieuwe Turbo en ICE.

      Gaat lekker daar bij Renault met de betrouwbaarheid en snelheid.

    stuk verbeterd met de renault pu, ook spannender, je weet met die Renault helemaal niet meer wanneer er iets uitvalt

    Slim van Alonso, had RB ook moeten doen op Silverstone.
    Nu moeten ze dit wellicht op Hockenheim gaan doen waar ze misschien wel betere kansen hebben dan hier want hier valt niks te halen voor hun.

      Volgens mij stond Hockenheim bij RB al in de planning voor een wissel, iedergeval bij Ricci... Ze gaan er van uit dat er in Hongarije goede kansen zijn.....
