Alonso snapte niets van bandenwissel McLaren

Fernando Alonso snapt niet waarom McLaren hem tijdens de Grand Prix van Duitsland naar binnen riep voor intermediates. De Spanjaard meldde over de radio dat het circuit droog was, maar toch werd hem gevraagd een pitstop te maken. Uiteindelijk pakte de gok verkeerd uit, en waren Alonso's kansen op punten verkeken.

Toen het in de hairpin licht begon te regenen, wilde McLaren Alonso naar de pits halen. De Spanjaard reageerde hier op de radio verbolgen over. "Veel te vroeg, mijn banden worden vernietigd op de droge delen." Alonso kwam toch binnen en een paar ronden later kreeg hij gelijk. Het was droog en de Spanjaard keerde terug naar slicks. 

Na de race stelde Alonso dat McLaren een gokje waagde, maar dat deze niet goed uitpakte. “We hoopte op regen, we wisselden naar intermediates toen het nog droog was en we vernielden de banden op de droge baan", aldus Alonso tegenover RaceFans.net. "Het was een gok, maar uiteindelijk scoorden we geen punten. Toch ben ik tevreden."

Even off topic: als ik het laatste nieuws moet geloven is Sergio Marchionne al bijna dood... Vreselijk nieuws... Ik hoop enorm dat het goed komt met hem

      Ik denk dat hij zelf ook twijfelde, anders was Fernando nooit naar binnen gegaan. En als de gok had gewerkt had hij zichzelf best weer eens in de kijken kunnen rijden, maar helaas voor de gokkers gisteren pakte het anders uit.

      Alonso wilde niet binnenkomen, hij werd binnengeroepen.
      Hij wist aanvangkelijk niet eens waarom.
      Om het radioverkeer te begrijpen moet je alleen je fantasie laten werken.
      Je gaat aardig in de buurt komen met wat je denkt.

      rijders hebben geen buienradar op hun stuurtje hoor, Dit is ook gewoon een fout van het team hetzelfde als bij Max. roepen dat dit een rijders beslissing is is gewoon niet waar, die mannetjes die op de radar kijken zaten er gewoon compleet naast gister bij RB en Mclaren.

      Het gaat niet om een radar, het gaat om instinct.
      De gok om tegen je team in te gaan vernietigd je seizoen.
      Vroeger kon dat nog, maar nu niet meer.

      En wat Max betreft, die heeft zelf gezegd over de radio dat ze het moesten proberen met inters.
      "Het was zijn call."
      Alleen bij bocht één had ie al spijt van zijn gok.

      Het blijft nog steeds een weervoorspelling heten ondanks de buienradars tegenwoordig.. Had het langer doorgeregend of was er meer water naar beneden gekomen dan was het de beste beslissing geweest.

    Het was een zooitje , zeker bij McLaren , maar ook Verstappen maakte die foute gok, zet de regen door ben je de held,nu een beetje de schlemiel...
