De Formule 1 lanceerde tijdens Britse Grand Prix haar nieuwe podcast: Beyond The Grid. Deze podcast is een initiatief van Liberty Media om rijders en andere prominenten dichter bij de fans te krijgen. Na Lewis Hamilton, Robert Kubica, Mark Webber, Esteban Ocon en Martin Brundle is het nu de beurt aan Red Bull-teambaas Christian Horner.

Het gesprek met Horner komt op een perfect moment. Vorige week maakte Daniel Ricciardo bekend dat hij vertrekt bij het team van Red Bull Racing en dit onderwerp keert dan ook veelvuldig terug tijdens het gesprek. Ook wordt er gesproken over zijn vroegere loopbaan als coureur en een bijzondere ontmoeting met de koningin van het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
