Grosjean spiegelt vormcrisis aan die van tennisser Djokovic

Romain Grosjean is van mening dat zijn vormcrisis te vergelijken is met de dip in resultaten van toptennisser Novak Djokovic. Grosjean beleeft een teleurstellend seizoen, waarin hij vaker dan hem lief is uitvalt door eigen fouten. Djokovic wist zijn tegenvallende resultaten recht te zetten en Grosjean spiegelt zich aan de Serviër, die dit jaar Wimbledon wist te winnen. 

"Het was zwaar", refereert Grosjean aan de openingsfase van het seizoen tegenover Motorsport.com. "Je wil weer op het niveau komen waar je denkt dat je hoort en je weet wat je daarvoor moet doen. In het leven zijn er echter verschillende redenen waarom je soms door een lastige fase gaat. Kijk naar Djokovic. Hij was de nummer één van de wereld, vervolgens ging het twee jaar niet en nu heeft hij Wimbledon gewonnen."

"Het is geweldig om te zien", vervolgt de Fransman. "Hij is zijn tennis en fitheid nooit verloren, hij was gewoon anders. Soms gebeurt dat. Ik heb wat pech gehad, wat ongelukkige momenten beleefd en daarna nog meer pech gehad. Het was moeilijk om er weer bovenop te komen."

Grosjean denkt dat hij zijn tegenvallende resultaten achter zich heeft gelaten, na een aantal betere races. "Hopelijk ben ik weer terug op het punt dat ik weet wat we me te doen staat. Als dat het geval is, dan gaan de dingen weer mijn kant op vallen, zoals op Hockenheim."

    Hij is op goede dagen supersnel maar hij blijft i.m.o. een mentaal kwetsbare persoon. Misschien moet ie nog eens langsgaan bij die psychotherapeut die hij had in zijn Lotusperiode.

    Ik wil wel eens zien of hij net zo rustig reageert als Djokovic wanneer er net voor de start een sprinkhaan op zijn stuurtje gaat zitten . ;)

    Het grote verschil is dat Djokovic vroeger ook al won, toen een vormcrisis had en nu weer wint terwijl Grosjean nog nooit heeft gewonnen. En ik durf er heel wat onder te verwedden dat Grosjean ook nooit zal gaan winnen. Die man heeft kansen genoeg gehad en nieuwkomers hebben nu meer recht op een stoeltje dan hij. Dus tot ziens bij een of ander tv-station met een kookprogramma.

      Dit dus, manke vergelijking. Djokovic is in Tennis(resultaten) level Hamilton/Vettel. In zijn geval had hij beter een top 100 speler kunnen gebruiken die tijdelijk top 20 is geweest maar weer is afgezakt naar plek 80 ofzo.

      Hij heeft iets van 3 of 4 kids. Er zijn rijders welke zeggen dat een kind .2 aan tijd kost. Telt dat op? Het zal in elk geval de nodige stress en extra zorgen met zich mee brengen non F1 gerelateerd.

    Djokivic was gebleseerd aan de elleboog, Grosjean aan het brein ( op racegebied), gaat niet meer over.

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Wat een domme eikel. Zichzelf wat gaan vergelijken met de wereld tennissers. Laat me niet lachen sul. Iemand die roept dat hij van achtren werd aangetikt door iemand die mijlen ver achter hem rijd moet niet zo hoog van de toren liggen brullen. En nu terug in je mandje boris...woefwoef.

    Is Grosjean ooit goed geweest dan? Vond hem altijd middelmatig al dan niet een druif. Man man man; tijdens de Safety Car je auto in de prak rijden en beweren dat iemand die honderd meter achter je rijdt je aanrijdt... dan hoor je niet in de F1 thuis als je t mij vraagt...
