Perez tevreden over conditie na eerste trainingskamp met Sauber

Sergio Perez heeft zijn eerste trainingskamp met Sauber achter de rug. De Mexicaan debuteert komend seizoen in de Formule 1 en hij staat er conditioneel goed op, zo vindt hij zelf. We hebben veel werk gedaan en ik ben vrij blij met mijn fitheid, aldus Perez.

Over zijn favoriete bezigheden op het trainingskamp: Ik heb van alle oefeningen genoten, met name van het beklimmen van een bevroren waterval. Voor mij was het ook belangrijk om tijd door te brengen met mijn nieuwe teamgenoten en een band op te bouwen.

Teamgenoot Kamui Kobayashi was ook van de partij. Ik moet toegeven dat ik de winter nooit echt leuk vind, ik hou van warmere temperaturen. We hebben een zwaar programma afgewerkt en dat was lekker. We zaten al lang stil en het nieuwe seizoen staat voor de deur. Het was tijd om weer te beginnen en ik voel het.
