Video: Boodschap van Gasly over transfer naar Red Bull Racing

Pierre Gasly rijdt in 2019 aan de zijde van Max Verstappen bij Red Bull Racing. De Fransman werd gisteren gepresenteerd als coureur voor komend seizoen en voor die gelegenheid maakte Gasly vandaag een korte videoboodschap.

Gasly, die zichtbaar heeft genoten van de zon tijdens de zomervakantie, vertelt over zijn droom om uit te komen voor Red Bull Racing en tegelijkertijd bedankt de Fransman zijn huidige team Toro Rosso voor alles wat ze voor hem gedaan hebben.

    Tof, ben wel blij met hem als teammaat van Max. Hopelijk kan hij Max het vuur aan de schenen leggen qua snelheid. Het eerste jaar zal Max in ieder geval eerste rijder zijn wat ook wel erg prettig is. Geen teammaat bashen in de race.

    hij mag achter max aan rijden zeker niet in de weg of ervoor en als het even kan zeker niet ertegen .

    Hij zal in de eerste instantie de opdracht krijgen om punten binnen te halen voor het team. hij wordt pas officieel tweede rijder op het moment dat Max op puntenkoers ligt voor het kampioenschap.

    Het zou mij niet verbazen als deze combi goed uitpakt. Wat evenwichtiger qua persoonlijkheden. Maar misschien ook wat saaier.

    Marko verwacht van hem dat hij halverwege het seizoen 2019 al op het niveau van Ricciardo zit las ik vandaag nog, dus hij zal wel degelijk gewoon op Max mogen jagen denk ik dan.

    Heb géén idee wat we kunnen verwachten... Volgendjaar zelfde tijd weten we vast wel iets meer.. ;) 2019 wordt iedergeval de eerste maanden al leuk ,interessant,spannend? vanwege de vele wisselingen ...
