Magnussen verliest rechtzaak tegen oud-manager

Kevin Magnussen heeft een rechtszaak verloren van zijn oude manager. Dorte Riis Madsen had in Kopenhagen een kort geding ingediend tegen de Deense coureur. Zij claimde een percentage te horen krijgen van de verdiensten van Magnussen, vanwege onrechtmatig ontslag en contractbreuk.

In het kamp-Magnussen werd verbaasd gereageerd op de beslissing. "We hadden dit niet verwacht. Aan de andere kant is het wellicht meer een overwinning dan een nederlaag, aangezien het Dorte Riis veel minder heeft opgeleverd dan waar ze op hoopte."

"Maar het is voor Kevin Magnussen niet fijn dat zijn vorige advocaat geen schadevergoeding hoeft te betalen vanwege zijn slechte adviezen", zegt Claus Barrett Christiansen, de huidige advocaat van de Deen tegenover Wheels24.com.
