Hülkenberg: "Ik adviseer Schumacher om een jaar Formule 2 te rijden"

De ster van Mick Schumacher is rijzende. De Duitser wordt na het behalen van de Formule 3-titel zelfs getipt voor een directe overstap naar de Formule 1, maar volgens Nico Hülkenberg moet zijn landgenoot daarmee oppassen.

Schumacher pakte vorig weekend de titel in het Europees Formule 3. Hij boog met 8 zeges en 12 podiumplaatsen in de laatste 16 races een achterstand van 69 punten om in een voorsprong van 57 punten op Daniel Ticktum. In eerste instantie werd verwacht dat de zoon van zevenvoudig Formule 1-kampioen Michael Schumacher in 2019 de stap zou maken richting de Formule 2, maar na zijn dominantie in de tweede seizoenshelft werd hij door enkelen ook al rijp geacht voor een overstap naar de Formule 1.

Max Verstappen maakte in 2015 de overstap van Formule 3 naar Formule 1 en volgens hem kan dat in principe geen kwaad als de coureur er klaar voor is. "Het hangt ervan af wat voor aanbiedingen hij krijgt. Ik was erg blij dat ik de Formule 2 kon overslaan, maar voor anderen is het beter om daar wel te rijden." Nico Hülkenberg is wat voorzichtiger op dat punt. "Hij is pas 19, dus ik adviseer hem om een jaar in de Formule 2 te rijden."

Ik wil eerst nog wel eens zien of hij hetzelfde nog eens kan laten zien in een andere klasse bij een ander team, F2 en dan niet bij het absolute top team en dan eens zien wat hij bereikt.
De geruchten over de periode na de zomerstop zullen misschien niet allemaal waarheid zijn maar opvallend vond... [Lees verder]

    De F1 gaat hij toch wel halen, of door zijn achternaam, maar hopelijk door goede prestaties. 1 of 2 jaartjes F2 om meer ervaring op te doen en de circuits te leren kennen is het meest verstandige om te doen, hij heeft nog tiet zat.

    Voor de zomerstop bakte hij er maar weinig van, erna was ie de absolute top.

    Ik krijg vooral de indruk dat hij naar de F1 wordt geschreeuwd door al wie er belang bij heeft. Op basis van een wonderbaarlijke metamorfose,gekoppeld aan een spectaculaire tweede seizoenshelft lijkt mij zeer verregaand.

    Het kan raar lopen, van “gewoon” talent naar aanstaand kampioen in de F1.... Wat een paar goede races al niet met je kan doen...en de naam natuurlijk niet te vergeten.;)
    Hij zal de F1 wel gaan halen, het is uiteindelijk de natte droom van velen.

    Schumi Jr moet zsm in de F1 de naam en pub. zijn alleen al heel belangrijk voor F1, achter Hamilton/Mercedes treintje rijden gewoon waardeloos om naar te kijken en als Max iets van een bedreiging word met zijn lullige Renault motortje direct straffen door GB officials + Salo. Mensen kijk toch eens hoe ze racen in the USA en DTM dat moet toch ook in F1 kunnen als het kerels zijn. Of bvb MotoGP die kunnen toch ook tegen een stootje, maar Hamilton denkt eerst of zijn haar wel goed zit daarna zijn oorbel met zonnepanelen en dan herhaalt hij dat praatje van hem, eerst bedankt etc,F. boring mensen. Als Max iets zegt direct critic van alle kanten, hij is zo heerlijk spontaan. Go Max! Trouwens die F1 officials maken zichzelf steeds belangrijker dat moet jullie toch ook opgevallen zijn.

      ? oorbel met zonnepanelen. Of zij haar wel goed zit haha. Hij strijkt er gemiddeld meer dan 30 keer doorheen met zn handen om te zorgen dat het goed zit.
