Overzicht: De strafpunten op de licentie per coureur

Het Grand Prix-weekend in de Verenigde Staten heeft een aantal coureurs weer strafpunten opgeleverd. Romain Grosjean, Lance Stroll, Sebastian Vettel waren op het Circuit of the Americas de mannen die een standje kregen van de stewards.

Grosjean liep tegen zijn tiende strafpunt en moet vrezen voor een schorsing. Dat hoeven de andere twee coureurs nog niet.

Een strafpunt blijft een heel jaar staan. Bij twaalf strafpunten binnen een jaar volgt er een schorsing. Hieronder volgt een overzicht van de strafpunten die de coureurs nu op hun licentie hebben staan, samen met wanneer hun eerstvolgende strafpunt vervalt.

  Verwarrend bericht op 7-10: volgens die tekst kreeg hij 2 strafpunten, zou dan op 9 zijn gekomen, maar hij kreeg er 'slechts' 1. Dus 8 pnt klopt.

Zou knap lullig zijn als Grosjean er zondag 2 krijgt... maandag vervalt er namelijk eentje. Aan de andere kant, dan had hij maar niet zomaar aanrijdingen moeten veroorzaken.

Bij Stroll wordt het krap, die mag tot juli volgend jaar nog maar 4 puntjes verzamelen, en met het huidige tempo is de strippenkaart snel gevuld.

  ze kunnen ook worden gegeven voor zeer discutabele offences. Max moet nu wel echt op zijn tellen passen. Lewis krijgt ze nooit en Leclerc dit seizoen dus ook niet. leis zit in de beste auto dus komt minder in gevechten (als mindere) en krijgt dus bijna geen straf.

Strafpunten op de license,,prima. Maar dan wel voor stupide, onverantwoorde , gevaarlijke zaken, en niet als je een keer een stukje gras “meeneemt” , of 1,2 km/h te hard rijdt..

Ik vind het vooral irritant dat je voor elke overtreding waar een tijdstraf op staat ook nog eens punten op je licentie krijgt, alsof je tijdstraf niet genoeg was.
Van mij mogen ze dat onmiddellijk afschaffen.
