Ricciardo debuteert morgen in Jerez voor Scuderia Toro Rosso

Daniel Ricciardo opent donderdagochtend de testweek op het Circuito de Jerez namens Scuderia Toro Rosso. Dat liet een woordvoerster van de Italiaanse renstal aan F1Today.nl weten. Ricciardo is sinds dit jaar test- en reservecoureur voor Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Het wordt niet zijn debuut in een Formule 1-auto, de Australiër testte al voor Red Bull Racing, maar het is wel de eerste keer dat hij voor Toro Rosso in actie komt. Tijdens de testweek in Barcelona zal Ricciardo eveneens achter het stuur kruipen, hij deelt dan de derde dag met Sebastian Buemi.
