Video: Max Verstappen wint de Grand Prix van Mexico 2017

Aankomend weekend staat de negentiende Grand Prix van het seizoen op het programma en die gaat verreden worden in Mexico. Max Verstappen zal met veel plezier terugkijken naar de editie van vorig jaar. Hij scoorde daar namelijk zijn derde overwinning in de Formule 1. Eerder won hij al in Spanje (2016) en Maleisië. Dit seizoen pakte hij in Oostenrijk zijn vierde zege.

De editie van vorig jaar zal één van de makkelijkere overwinningen zijn geweest voor de Nederlander. In de eerste bochten moest hij met Lewis Hamilton en Sebastian Vettel nog strijden om de koppositie, maar dat bezorgde de beide mannen schade aan hun auto. Allebei moesten zij de pits opzoeken en Verstappen reed vrij gemakkelijk naar de winst. Aankomend weekend gaat de Red Bull Racing-coureur dus proberen om zijn vijfde Grand Prix-overwinning te pakken.

Pole denk ik niet.
Vorig jaar was het gat tussen de Merc en Renault motor een stuk kleiner.
De race zelf zal vooraan erg spannend worden denk ik.
