Overzicht: De beschikbare bandensets per coureur voor de race

Max Verstappen lijkt voorafgaand aan de Grand Prix van Mexico een goede uitgangspositie te hebben. De Nederlander start als tweede en heeft daarnaast nog de meeste setjes nieuwe supersofts. Dat blijkt uit gegevens over de beschikbare sets banden die elke coureur nog heeft.

Pirelli gaf eerder al aan dat men verwacht dat coureurs twee keer de pits bezoeken. Bij beide pitstops zou dan een set supersofts gebruikt worden, maar voor veel coureurs lijkt dat al onmogelijk te zijn. Van de top 6 is Verstappen de enige coureur die nog twee sets supersoft heeft en die zijn beiden ook nog nieuw. Verstappen heeft echter geen nieuwe set met ultrasofts meer, iets wat de concurrentie wel weer heeft. In het onderstaande overzicht is te lezen welke coureur welke sets banden over heeft voor de race.
