Gisteren reed Max Verstappen voor Red Bull Racing op de eerste dag van de test in Abu Dhabi, de laatste test van het Formule 1-seizoen 2018. Daarmee is er ook voor de Nederlander een einde gekomen aan een veelbewogen jaar, waarin Verstappen de eerste races zeer stroef begon, maar daarna ijzersterk terugkwam.

Voodat de coureurs weer terug in training gaan, is eerst de tijd van vakantie aangebroken en daarom kan het duidelijk ook wat minder serieus. Zo is de Nederlander bijvoorbeeld door FHM gevraagd naar zijn favorieten in verschillende categorieën.

Verstappen is bijvoorbeeld een fan van PSV, verkiest Zandvoort boven Assen en ziet Daniel Ricciardo als zijn fijnste teamgenoot tot nu toe. Hij durft echter niet te zeggen wie hij de mooiste vrouw van Nederland vindt. Daarbij zou wellicht kunnen meespelen dat hij een vriendin heeft.
