Stroll verwacht dat Kubica het team van Williams vooruit gaat helpen

Robert Kubica kan Williams vooruit helpen. Dat denkt Lance Stroll, die het Britse team heeft verlaten voor een avontuur bij het team van Racing Point. Williams eindigde in 2018 op de laatste plek, met een grote achterstand op de teams voor hen. Stroll denkt echter dat Kubica het team vooruit kan helpen.

"Robert is erg behulpzaam geweest. Hij heeft gewoon een goede kijk op dingen en is erg gedreven. Ik wens hem dan ook het beste voor 2019. Zijn herstel is ongelooflijk geweest. Ik kan me niet voorstellen wat hij heeft moeten doorstaan. Het is geweldig om hem terug op de grid te zien. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat het team dingen kan omdraaien en ik ben er zeker van dat Robert een grote hulp gaat zijn."

Teambaas Claire Williams is het daarmee eens. "Robert is erg nuttig geweest in de ontwikkeling van de FW41 en hij gaat een grote ondersteuning zijn voor de ontwikkeling van de FW42 en de volgende auto's. Hij heeft een uitzonderlijk inzicht in de engineering en gaat echt tot het uiterste. Hij stimuleert de engineers in wat zij doen en stimuleert mij ook", zegt Williams tegenover Crash.

"Hij neemt op luchthavens over de hele wereld contact met me op om 2 uur in de nacht en zegt dan wat er fout is gegaan en wat we moeten gaan doen. Dat is geweldig om te zien, aangezien we echt een rijderspaar nodig hebben die kan leveren in 2019. Zijn vechtlust hebben we op dit moment nodig in het team. Iedereen moet tot het uiterste gaan en ik denk dat Robert voor ons een geweldige toevoeging gaat zijn in 2019 en daarna."

Zo’n gast als Kubica erbij zal de vechtlust zeker opkrikken.
Zo iemand erbij hebben moet zeker inspirerend zijn. Ben benieuwd hoe het ze zal vergaan. Een van de dingen waar ik het meest benieuwd naar ben voor komend seizoen.
1. Hoe verhoudt Leclerc zich tov Vettel.
2. Wat gaan Kubica en Williams laten zien.
3. Heeft McLaren een stap vooruit gezet.

  Haha ik kan m ook nog wel aanvullen tot 10, daar komen de punten uit jouw lijstje ook wel in voor, maar dit zijn voor mij de grote onbekenden. Hoewel nr 1 bij jou bij mij ook in de top 3 had gekund.

Ik had felipe altijd hoger op mijn lijstje staan dan kubica. Toen felipe er reed waren er ook meer punten dan afgelopen jaar, was felipe dan zo goed of stroll zo slecht?
