Netflix komt op 8 maart met een serie over de Formule 1

Mooi nieuws voor alle Netflix en Formule 1 fanaten. De streamingdienst, waar we allemaal wekelijks uren naar kunnen kijken, komt binnenkort met een serie over de Formule 1.

Ongeveer één jaar geleden onthulde de Formula 1 en Netflix dat er een serie aan komt met een kijkje achter de schermen van de sport. Eindelijk kunnen we dan volgende maand de serie bekijken. Het afgelopen jaar was er al het een en ander aan nieuws te vernemen, betreffende een serie, nu komt Netflix met de officiële aankondiging. De aankondiging is te zien op Netflix.

De trailer die begin deze maand verscheen gaf al een beeld van de serie. Veel actie op het circuit van onder andere Max Verstappen en de andere coureurs. Gedurende het volledige seizoen 2018 keken er vele camera’s mee achter de schermen van de Formule 1.

De serie bevat speciale teamevenementen, privétrainingen en vele off-track uitjes. De peperdure camera’s van de Netflix volgde de coureurs op de voet. De producent is geen onbekende: James Gay Rees. Rees produceerde onder andere de Senna documentaire in 2010.

Ian Holmes is trots dat de serie eindelijk aan het publiek getoond gaat worden. "We vinden het fantastisch om onze nieuwe serie 'Formula 1 - Drive to Survive' aan te kondigen nu Formula 1 aan een nieuw tijdperk begint. Deze unieke serie laat een unieke kant van deze sport zien en geeft ons de gelegenheid om unieke verhalen op en naast het circuit te vertellen."

@P.Clemenza " voor de dames is het leuk al die series maar het niveau qua films is om te huilen". Dus een vrouw kijkt series en een man kijkt films?

dan moet ik toch mn geslacht maar even laten aanpassen ;-)

  vind het een beetje jammer, 2018 is water under the bridge, exclusieve beelden achter de schermen van het huidige seizoen, dat zou me wel wat waard zijn..
  
  En beter investeert Netflix verder in een fatsoenlijk film aanbod, voor de dames is het leuk al die series maar het niveau qua films is om te huilen
