Er zijn beelden online gekomen waarbij Daniel Ricciardo zijn helm aan de buitenwereld laat zien. De Australiër maakte tijdens de testweken in Barcelona gebruik van een "test-helm design". In de video is te zien dat de concept helm van de Renault-coureur vooral roze is met een lichtgroene streep.
