De verwachtingen van de combinatie Red Bull Racing-Honda zijn hooggespannen, niet in de laatste plaats door de uitspraken vanuit het team zelf. Coureur Steijn Schothorst heeft er dan ook vertrouwen in dat het Oostenrijkse team goed gaat presteren in 2019.

Daarnaast spreekt Schothorst ook over Pierre Gasly, de nieuwe teamgenoot van Max Verstappen bij Red Bull. Het team liet al weten dat men niet verwacht dat de nieuwkomer dit jaar Verstappen het vuur aan de schenen legt en Schothorst denkt dat de Fransman vooral bij het team gehaald is om de perfecte tweede coureur achter de Nederlander te zijn.
