Live: Max Verstappen met Atze Kerkhof tijdens 12 uur van Sebring

De virtuele 12 uur van Sebring is van start gegaan. Max Verstappen rijdt tijdens de virtuele race een Oreca LMP2-auto met landgenoot Atze Kerkhof. De twee komen uit voor het raceteam Redline. 

De start

Max Verstappen startte als zevende, maar viel door chaos bij de start terug. De auto van Verstappen leek in eerste instantie veel schade te hebben, maar uiteindelijk viel dat mee. Er rijden nog twee landgenoten mee tijdens de 12 uur van Sebring: McLaren-simulator-coureur Rudy van Buren deelt de BMW M8 GTE met Kevin van Dooren, de twee rijden in de GT-klasse. 

Eerder dit jaar

Eerder dit jaar reed Max Verstappen ook mee met een virtuele race op Bathurst, onze landgenoot viel hierbij in een vroegtijdig stadium uit door een crash. Verstappen is een grote liefhebber van online racen en traint vaak in games zoals iRacing.

Vraagje, hoe zit dat met het repareren van schade in die simracelarij? Ik zag Atze om 17.30 tijdens een inhaalpogoing keihard de muur raken, en daarna kakte zijn tempo aardig in. Kan dat door een lange pitstop wel weer voor 100% gefikst worden, of blijf je altijd wel een beetje onherstelbare scha... [Lees verder]

      Volgens mij behoud je altijd wel iets, (tenminste bij Rfactor 1 was dat zo, dan zal het bij Rfactor 2 net zo zijn
