Verstappen ook na Grand Prix Monaco bovenaan F1 Power Rankings

Max Verstappen staat ook na de Grand Prix van Monaco bovenaan in de Power Rankings van Formula1.com. De Red Bull Racing-coureur staat op 45,3 punten per race gemiddeld, net iets meer dan Lewis Hamilton en Valtteri Bottas hebben.

Voor de Power Rankings kijkt een panel van vijf man na afloop van een Grand Prix-weekend naar de verrichtingen van de coureurs, waaraan een beoordeling tussen de 1 en 10 wordt gehangen. De vijf scores opgeteld vormen de totaalscore, waarna het gemiddelde van die totaalscore van alle races bepaalt wie er op de eerste plaats staat in het klassement.

Verstappen scoorde in Monaco 46 punten bij de jury, waardoor hij zijn gemiddelde score verbeterde naar 45,3 punten. Daarmee staat hij 0,6 punten boven Hamilton, die voor zijn optreden in het prinsdom 49 punten kreeg. Bottas werd in de race uiteindelijk derde, maar op de jury maakte hij geen geweldige indruk. De Mercedes-coureur kreeg 40 punten, waardoor zijn gemiddelde na zes races 43 punten bedraagt.

Hoge notering Albon en Sainz, Leclerc verliest terrein

De vierde plaats op de Power Rankings is voor Alexander Albon. De Toro Rosso-coureur kreeg 43 punten voor zijn race door Monte-Carlo en staat nu op een gemiddelde van 40,5. Daarmee scoort hij fractioneel beter dan Carlos Sainz, die 47 punten kreeg voor zijn race in Monaco. De top 10 wordt afgerond door Sergio Perez, George Russell, Daniil Kvyat, Lando Norris en Charles Leclerc, die slechts 30 punten kreeg van de jury voor zijn thuisrace.

Kimi Raikkonen stond vanaf vroeg in het seizoen in de top 10 van de Power Rankings, maar na een tegenvallend weekend in Monaco moet hij genoegen nemen met een plaats buiten de top 10. Ook Sebastian Vettel staat, ondanks zijn drie podiumplaatsen in 2019, niet in de top 10.

De powerrankings gingen vorig seizoen toch over de afgelopen 3 races?

Mag ik me dan hardop afvragen waarom Leclerc er nog instaat?
Baku, verpest zijn eigen weekend door in de kwali te crashen.
Spanje, niets bijzonder, Vettel versloeg hem uiteindelijk.
Monaco, kwali 70% team 30% zelf, race dom en onnodig na de lekke band.

Vettel was de afgelopen 3 weekenden beter maar staat niet in de top 10? :')

  Volgens mij gaat het nu over het hele seizoen. Maar dat Leclerc nog steeds in de top 10 staat en Vettel niet slaat nergens op.
  
  Ik kan het er ook niet mee eens zijn dat Albon boven Kvyat staat.

  Vorig jaar was Vettel als 2e geindigd in het WK meen ik en kwam hij in de hele top 10 niet eens voor van die powerrankings , ik denk dat er geen duitsers in dat panel zitten
