Ferrari heeft snel antwoorden nodig voor veranderingen aan bolide 2020

Ferrari is al druk in de weer met de auto voor 2020. Volgens Mattia Binotto zijn er snel antwoorden nodig op de problemen waar het team nu mee kampt, zodat de auto van volgend jaar die problemen niet zal hebben.

Het seizoen 2019 verloopt voor Ferrari niet zoals gehoopt en gepland. De Scuderia leek na de wintertests de uitgesproken favoriet te zijn voor de wereldtitels, maar na zes races is het Mercedes dat de klok slaat. Ferrari lijkt daarentegen een verkeerd concept van de auto gekozen te hebben en tevens moeite te hebben met de nieuwe banden met dunner loopvlak.

Dat zijn problemen die Ferrari op korte termijn wil oplossen. Dat is niet alleen in het belang van het huidige seizoen, maar ook voor 2020. Volgens teambaas Binotto is de ontwikkeling van die bolide inmiddels al lang en breed onderweg en er zullen op korte termijn antwoorden moeten komen op de problemen, zodat de auto van 2020 niet dezelfde problemen zal ondervinden.

"We zijn al bezig met het ontwikkelen voor volgend jaar en tegen de zomer is het project meestal al redelijk vergevorderd. Als er iets aangepakt moet worden voor volgend jaar, dan moet dat binnenkort al gebeuren. We werken parallel aan deze projecten, want we moeten ons verbeteren en ik denk dat er veel te leren is. Wat wij aan onze huidige auto doen, zal ook voordeel opleveren voor de auto van volgend jaar."

Mercedes ook in Canada favoriet volgens Binotto

In Canada hoeven er volgens Binotto echter geen wonderen verwacht te worden van Ferrari. "We hebben in Maranello een aantal programma's opgezet om de problemen aan te pakken waar we in de laatste races mee kampten. Ik denk echter niet dat er een magische oplossing komt in Canada. De auto is degene die we in Monaco hadden."

Mercedes is volgens de teambaas en technisch directeur van Ferrari ook in Canada het te kloppen team, hoewel Toto Wolff van Mercedes graag anders beweert. "We zullen er beter voorstaan dan in Barcelona, maar ik denk dat zij nog steeds de beste auto hebben. Zij zouden dus degenen moeten zijn die voor liggen, maar misschien is het gat wel kleiner. Als er een kans komt, zijn we er klaar voor om die aan te grijpen."

Eerder van positie veranderen door middel van stalorders en niet nog eens 8 ronden aanmodderen zal misschien helpen.

Voor de rest denk ik dat je nog kan gaan voor wat successen.

Nu is Pirelli ook niet up date met hun banden de FIA en LB mogen zich wel schamen dat zij zweren bij dat bandenbedrijf uit Milaan. Goodyear heeft een totaal ander concept uitgevonden, waarbij de band langer dan normaal het uithoudt. Voor de F1 wordt het concept aangepast, waar wel ruim een prijskaartje aanhangt. wordt vervolgt neem ik aan!

De meeste banden van de wereld worden verkocht in Denemarken.

Lego neemt de meeste banden af voor hun speelgoed autootjes:-)
