Speciale helm voor Max Verstappen in Spa-Francorchamps

Nog twee dagen en dan is de zomerstop in de Formule 1 definitief voorbij. Morgen arriveren de teams, coureurs en media op het circuit, vrijdag zullen de coureurs de vrije trainingen afwerken. Voor Max Verstappen betekent dit een thuisrace, om de hoek waar hij opgroeide.

Speciale helm en Verstappen-tribune

Spa-Francorchamps is voor veel coureurs altijd speciaal maar voor Max Verstappen misschien iets meer. Mede omdat het zijn thuisrace is, maar ook vanwege zijn eigen tribune. Daarnaast zal hij ook opnieuw, net als voorgaande jaren, met een speciale helm gaan rijden zo heeft GPToday.net vernomen.

De 21-jarige Nederlander vertelt over zijn eigen tribune tegenover de Telegraaf: "We hebben daar ook weer een speciale Max Verstappen-tribune. Het is altijd heel bijzonder om te zien, zoveel oranje bij elkaar."

Sterk Ferrari in België

Veel experts verwachten een sterk Ferrari in de Ardennen. Ook de coureur van Red Bull Racing verwacht dit: "In Hongarije was Ferrari natuurlijk helemaal nergens in de wedstrijd, maar ik verwacht dat ze in België heel sterk zijn. Het is toch een circuit waarin het motorische vermogen belangrijk is. Het is altijd even afwachten qua weer, maar over het algemeen moet dat wel een van hun sterkere banen zijn."
