Max Verstappen heeft weinig rust gekregen tussen de Grands Prix van Mexico en de Verenigde Staten. Nog geen drie dagen na afloop van de race in Mexico was de Nederlander alweer afgereisd naar Los Angeles.

Op dinsdag pakte Verstappen samen met teambaas Christian Horner als toeschouwer de basketbalwedstrijd tussen Los Angeles Lakers en Memphis Grizzlies mee. Een dag later moest de coureur van Red Bull Racing namelijk ook nog in de miljoenenstad zijn: samen met Daniel Ricciardo en Valtteri Bottas gaf hij een demonstratie in Hollywood, wat onderdeel was van het Hollywood F1 Festival.

Verstappen kwam in het tweede deel van de dag het asfalt op om het publiek te vermaken met een aantal donuts, zoals zijn collega's van Renault en Mercedes daarvoor ook al gedaan hadden. De donutcompetitie werd uiteindelijk gewonnen door Bottas. De Formule 1 legde het festival op beeld vast en dat leverde de volgende video van de verrichtingen van Verstappen op.
