Verstappen en Hamilton samen bovenaan in F1 Power Rankings na Brazilië

De Power Rankings van de Formule 1 heeft na twintig races twee coureurs die samen de eerste positie delen. Lewis Hamilton moet na de Braziliaanse Grand Prix de koppositie delen met Max Verstappen.

Verstappen kreeg voor zijn optreden op Interlagos de maximale score van 50 punten, wat voor de Nederlander de derde keer is dat hij die score bereikt. Daarmee heeft de coureur van Red Bull Racing in zijn eentje meer perfecte scores dan de rest van de coureurs bij elkaar, want alleen Valtteri Bottas en ___Escaped_link_69843ba256a62___ wisten die score een keer te behalen. De analisten noemden de zege van Verstappen 'een geweldige en ijzig kalme prestatie'.

Hamilton had de leiding in de Power Rankings een aantal races alleen in handen, maar dat is inmiddels dus weer verleden tijd. De Mercedes-coureur kreeg van de jury 39 punten uitgedeeld, nadat hij in Brazilië slechts zevende werd. Het wordt de Brit aangerekend dat hij in de slotfase een podiumplaats om zeep hielp door Alexander Albon achterstevoren te tikken.

Met een ijzersterke race van P20 naar P3 verstevigde Carlos Sainz zijn derde plaats in de Power Rankings. De McLaren-coureur kreeg 48 punten van de vijf juryleden. Daniel Ricciardo klom ten koste van Sebastian Vettel een positie, nadat de Duitser slechts 30 punten scoorde door zijn crash met teamgenoot Charles Leclerc. Vettel staat nu tiende, terwijl Leclerc ondanks die botsing 37 punten scoorde en op P5 blijft staan.

Een 7.8 gemiddeld voor Hamilton lijkt haast wel alsof ze hem die score bewust gegeven hebben, zodat ze met 1 race te gaan gelijk staan

Ik heb eigenlijk helemaal niets met deze ranking. Ik snap bijvoorbeeld niet waarom Sainz 2 punten minder had dan Verstappen. Ook Sainz was foutloos en briljant deze race.

Maar ik moet ook zeggen dat de 3 beste rijders (naar mijn mening) op de eerste 3 plekken staan. En daarbij kan ik nooit kiezen wie de beste is: Hamilton of Verstappen. En zie hier! Precies de uitslag zoals ik hem al een tijdje zie!

Hahaha. Ik ga straks nog uitkijken naar de overperfecte power ranking.... zei de narcist die denkt alles te weten van F1.... Mannen. Grapje. Het is gewoon grappig dat mijn mening terugkomt in dit nietszeggende overzicht.

  @ Messi: je hebt ze topauto's dan een heel groot gat en dan de rest. Middenin dat gat rijdt Sainz, met een auto die bij die rest hoort. Het hele seizoen doet ie dat al, en de pinten laten dat zien. En dan noem je hem overrated? Sainz draait een meer dan goed seizoen met die McLaren.
