Sauber in afrondende fase in gesprek met nieuwe sponsor

Het team van Sauber verwacht op korte termijn een nieuwe sponsor te kunnen presenteren. Blick bericht dat onderhandelingen tussen de Zwitserse renstal en een nog onbekende partij zich in de afrondende fase bevinden. Teambaas Peter Sauber: We zitten dicht tegen een contract aan.

Goed nieuws voor Sauber, dat vorig jaar nagenoeg sponsorloos rond reed. Met dank aan opvallende optredens van Kamui Kobayashi en de komst van debutant Sergio Perez met de steun van een cluster aan Mexicaanse geldschieters zijn potentiële sponsors meer genegen om zich aan het team te verbinden.
