Daniel Ricciardo was afgelopen week te gast bij The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. De Renault-coureur sprak in de talkshow onder andere over de groeiende populariteit van de Formule 1 in de Verenigde Staten.

Ricciardo werd geïntroduceerd met een aantal fragmenten uit de Netflix-serie Drive to Survive, waarvan het tweede seizoen eind februari op Netflix gepubliceerd wordt. De Australiër verklaart de populariteit van de Formule 1 in de VS mede gegroeid is door de serie op het streamingplatform. Ook ging Ricciardo in op de afhankelijkheid van het materiaal in de sport en hoe hij zich op het openbare weg gedraagt.
