Vettel bijt spits af voor Ferrari tijdens eerste week wintertests

Ferrari heeft als tweede team onthuld wie op welk moment in actie komt tijdens de eerste week van de wintertests op het Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Sebastian Vettel krijgt de eer om de SF1000 als eerste aan de tand te voelen.

Dinsdag presenteerde Ferrari als eerste team haar nieuwe bolide voor het seizoen 2020. Tot dusver is nog niet duidelijk of het team voorafgaand aan de eerste testweek nog een shakedown verricht, maar de Italiaanse renstal heeft wel vast uit de doeken gedaan hoe de eerste drie testdagen van 2020 verdeeld worden door de coureurs. Vettel bijt op woensdag 19 februari het spits af.

De viervoudig wereldkampioen zit op dan de hele dag in de auto. Een dag later wordt de auto gedeeld door Charles Leclerc en Vettel: de Monegask neemt 's ochtends plaats in de nieuwe auto, terwijl Vettel het stuur 's middags overneemt. Dat is het laatste moment dat de Duitser volgende week in actie komt, want op vrijdag 21 februari is de hele dag gereserveerd voor Leclerc.

Ferrari is na Haas F1 het tweede team dat haar line-up voor de eerste testweek bekend heeft gemaakt. Het Amerikaanse team kiest voor een iets andere indeling: Kevin Magnussen en Romain Grosjean nemen eerst allebei een hele dag voor hun rekening, om vervolgens allebei op vrijdag in actie te komen.

Team Vettel en team Magnussen. Het is toch ook mooi heh volgens mij is dit tijdens een heftig wc bezoek even de site op gegooit.
