Claire Williams geeft teaser: "Drive to Survive zal laten zien wat er in 2019 met ons gebeurde"

Williams F1-teammanager Claire Williams is er zeker van dat het tweede seizoen van de Netfix-serie 'Drive to Survive' zal laten zien wat er werkelijk in 2019 met het team gebeurde.

Het team uit Grove had afgelopen jaar een dramatisch seizoen. Het seizoen 2019 ging voor Williams de boeken in als het slechtste seizoen ooit voor de iconische renstal. Claire Williams keek alvast vooruit naar de nieuwe serie."lk wil niet alles verklappen, maar onze aflevering werd opgenomen in Barcelona tijdens de testdagen. Ik denk dat het goed is dat de waarheid en de verhalen nu eerlijk naar buiten zullen komen."

"De mensen krijgen echt bloed, zweet en tranen te zien. Ze gaan diep op de situatie achter de schermen in," verklaarde ze. "Mensen zien soms alleen de situatie van voren en trekken daar hun conclusies uit. Ik hoop dat de mensen de scenes eerlijk zullen beoordelen en uiteindelijk zullen zien hoe pijnlijk de situatie voor ons was."

Gedurende de wintertests van 2019 stond het team van Williams ernstig onder druk. Waar Williams bij de invoering van de Hybride-motoren zelfs met twee coureurs op het podium kon staan, sloot het 2019 af als laatste. Uiteindelijk luidde al deze perikelen het einde in van Paddy Lowe. De Engelsman, die enkele jaren daarvoor was overgestapt van AMG Mercedes Petronas, werd verantwoordelijk gehouden voor de teleurstellende resultaten.

  Ligt eraan hoe je het interpreteert en voor welk doeleind... Daarom kun je bij (de meeste) elektronische kalenders de week ook laten starten op zondag...
  En als er jou wordt gevraagd om de weekdagen op te noemen, wedden dat jij dan begint met "zondag, maandag... t/m .... vrijdag, zaterdag"??? Zo leer je het al op de basisschool en zodoende begint iedereen met zondag.... In dat geval is vrijdag dus zeker einde van de week!!!!
