Red Bull Racing doet voor virtuele GP beroep op Sergio Aguero

De virtuele Grand Prix van Spanje van komende zondag telt net als in de voorgaande online Formule 1-race zes rijders uit het echte Formule 1-deelnemersveld. Charles Leclerc, Alexander Albon, George Russell, Nicholas Latifi, Lando Norris en Antonio Giovinazzi verdedigen wederom de eer van de Formule 1-coureurs in een verder gemêleerd gezelschap.

Zo verschijnen er ook drie professionele voetballers aan de start van de virtuele Spaanse Grand Prix. Red Bull Racing heeft gekozen voor Manchester City-aanvaller Sergio Aguero als teamgenoot voor Albon. Arthur Melo van Barcelona maakt zijn opwachting voor Haas F1 Team aan de zijde van Pietro Fittipaldi. En Real Madrid-keeper Thibaut Courtouis is andermaal van de partij, dit keer namens Alfa Romeo.

Andere namen op de startlijst voor zondag zijn onder meer David Schumacher (zoon van oud Formule 1-coureur Ralf Schumacher), Antonio Fuoco, golfer Ian Poulter en oud Formule 1-rijders Esteban Gutierrez en Vitantonio Liuzzi. De virtuele Grand Prix van Spanje is op 10 mei vanaf 19.00 uur live te volgen via Ziggo Sport.
