Hiervoor ontving Charles Leclerc een gridstraf

Ferrari kon zich niet mengen met de topteams. Leclerc en Vettel stonden samen op het randje van Q2, uiteindelijk trok Sebastian Vettel aan het langste eind en mocht naar Q3. Het kan nog erger voor de Scuderia-coureur, want zijn startpositie is met drie plaatsen opgeschoven vanwege een straf.

Charles Leclerc start vandaag dus niet vanaf positie 11 maar 14. De Monegask heeft drie plaatsen gridstraf gekregen nadat hij bij de stewards moest komen. Hij beging tijdens de twee overtredingen en daarvoor moest hij zich verantwoorden. Hij heeft Daniil Kvyat op gehouden en negeerde een rode vlag. Voor deze twee vergrijpen ontvangt hij dus nu 3 plaatsen gridstraf. Op zijn licentie ontvangt hij tevens 1 strafpunt. Hieronder zie je de beelden van het ophouden van Daniil Kvyat.

Het hele bericht is fout. Hij heeft alleen de straf voor het ophouden van kvyat gekregen. Want toen de rode vlag viel was hij net bij bocht 9 en kon hij niet veilig snelheid verminderen en de pits halen. Dus voor dat heeft hij geen straf gekregen.
