Romain Grosjean start vanuit pitlane na overtreden regels

Romain Grosjean moet de Grand Prix van Stiermarken starten vanuit de pitsstraat. De Fransman en zijn team hebben de reglementen overtreden.

Als een auto van start is gegaan aan de kwalificatie mag er na de avondklok niet aan de auto's gewerkt worden, toch deed het team van Haas dat wel. De stewards hebben hierdoor besloten om de Fransman vanuit de pitsstraat te laten starten. Het statement van de brief kort samengevat:

"Romain Grosjean zal moeten vertrekken vanuit de pitsstraat nadat hij schuldig is bevonden aan een overtreding van artikel 34.2, 34.4 en 34.7 van de FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. Haas werkte aan de auto van Grosjean en verrichtte zonder toezicht werkzaamheden aan auto 8 onder Parc Ferme voorwaarden."
