Mercedes-coureur Lewis Hamilton zei na de kwalificatie tijdens de persconferentie niet blij te zijn met de nu nog prototypes die Pirelli volgend jaar wil doorvoeren. Max Verstappen uit vaak kritiek op de banden van de Italiaanse leverancier, hierop speelt Lewis Hamilton in en vraagt naar de mening van Max.

      Als die dat zegt Roy neemt niemand hem meer serieus. Dan zegt ie: Ik niet weet ik niet rijd in een gedomineerde taxi...' :p

      Denk overigens niet dat Hamilton gevoelig is voor psychologie. Net als Max overigens.

      Toch raar, in de tijd van hamilton vs rosberg hadden ze volgens mij veel zendtijd dan nu. Gewoon omdat er strijd was. Meer zendtijd is toch beter?

    Lijkt mij eerder dat de rb op die banden minder last heeft dat mb. Alleen is max er niet blij mee. LH wil dat Max zich uitspreekt omdat hij denkt dat MB er meer last van heeft dan RB. Handig gespeeld van Lewis

      De band zelf is niet zwaarder, de velg wel vanwege de grotere diameter. Meer roterende en ongeveerde massa is een stap terug in performance.

      Idiote beslissing om er wat "cooler" uit te zien.
