Sergio Perez heeft gezorgd voor een rode vlag tijdens de vrije training voor de Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. De eerste training is stilgelegd doordat de Red Bull op vrijwel hetzelfde punt stilstaat als waar Max Verstappen vorig jaar met een klapband stil kwam te staan.

Bij de teamgenoot van de Nederlander is nu linksachter de band compleet van de velg, die ook deels kapot is.
