Vettel wil in Spa de druk bij de rivalen opvoeren

Ook dit seizoen zijn de verschillen in het middenveld klein. Ook Sebastian Vettel en Aston Martin zijn na een wisselvallige start van het seizoen vol verwikkeld in deze strijd. In België gaat het gevecht in het middenveld weer onverminderd door.

Vettel staat in het kampioenschap momenteel op de twaalfde plaats maar wel maar 9 puntjes achter nummer tien Esteban Ocon. De strijd is nog lang niet beslist en ook de Duitser is zich daarvan bewust. In een vooruitblik van Aston Martin spreekt Vettel zich uit over de aankomende races: "Het is een heel druk einde van het seizoen met meerdere triple-headers dus het momentum hebben is belangrijk in het middenveld gevecht."

Spa is de plek waar Vettel en zijn team dit weekend weer de degens kruisen met hun rivalen. En dat weet de viervoudig wereldkampioen ook: "We willen goeie punten scoren in Spa om het balletje aan het rollen te brengen en de druk vol op de teams voor ons te leggen."

Gelukkig heeft Vettel ook nog een beetje zin in de race, Spa is geliefd. "Ik denk dat elke coureur op de grid geniet van racen op Spa en het is zeker een van mijn favoriete plekken om een Formule 1 auto te besturen vanwege de layout en de speciale combinatie van bochten." Het is niet de verwachting dat Vettel net als in 2011, 2013 en 2018 de Belgische Grand Prix op zijn naam gaat schrijven al weet je het na Ocons overwinning in Hongarije niet meer zeker.

Een van de bijwerkingen van dit spul is draaierigheid, dus ik denk dat Seb dit al een behoorlijke tijd gebruikt? ;-)

Misschien neemt Vettel wel een potje Iberolax mee. Dat helpt wellicht om een soort van druk op te voeren.

  Ik moest het even opzoeken, puur uit nieuwsgierigheid wat voor een goede grap dit zou kunnen zijn, maar dit middel doet precies het tegenovergestelde dus jouw dijenkletser klopt niet helemaal.

  Jullie zijn allemaal wel goed op de hoogte van dit middel tegen obstipatie, wellicht zou een meer gevarieerd dieet beter zijn en dan heb ik het niet over verschillende sauzen over de patat of hamburgers.
