Perez vreest de concurrentie: "Ze zijn heel snel op de rechte stukken"

Max Verstappen is dit weekend niet het enige ijzer in het vuur van Red Bull. Ook Sergio Perez hoopt dit weekend een goede prestatie neer te zetten. Wel vreest de Mexicaan de concurrentie.

Tijdens de persconferentie laat de Mexicaan zich in gesprek met Motorsport Magazin uit over de Mercedessen: "We verwachten dat Mercedes heel sterk zal zijn op de rechte stukken." Gelukkig voor de Mexicaan en zijn collega's zijn er in Zandvoort geen ellenlange rechte stukken. Wat er wel is zijn kombochten en daar is de Red Bull-coureur van mening dat de Duitse concurrent sterk zal zijn: Ze hebben altijd een goede auto's op circuits met gebankte bochten. Het ziet er daar meer stabiel uit."

Wel verwacht Perez dat Red Bull dit weekend in het voordeel is: "Ik denk dat we competitief zijn hier, er zijn een heleboel snelle en medium-snelle bochten. Daar zijn we sterk."
