Max Verstappen verwacht geen grote verschillen op Monza: "Het zit 'm in de details"

Max Verstappen verwacht dat het verschil op Monza tussen de Mercedes en de Red Bull in de kleine details zit. De Limburger verwacht geen grote verschillen tussen hem en de bolide van Lewis Hamilton, het zit allemaal erg dicht op elkaar benadrukt de Nederlander. 

In gesprek met zijn eigen website Verstrappen.com laat de Limburger weten:  “Ik denk niet dat wij of Mercedes een groot voordeel hebben ten opzichte van de ander. Op Zandvoort kon je in de kwalificatie en de race zien dat onze beide auto's super dicht bijeen zitten en Lewis oefende de hele race druk uit, wat betekende dat we ons geen fouten konden veroorloven op de baan, in de pitlane of aan de pitmuur, en dat deden we niet. Ik denk dat het de kleine details zijn waar je het verschil kunt maken. Als je een raceweekend ingaat, moet je als team hard werken aan de afstelling en het finetunen van de kleine details, daar valt de winst te behalen.”

    @gptoday: nog een PR/CR voor de database/website: de punten als float ipv integer implementeren zodat de halve punten ook correct getoond worden. Nu is jullie resultaten overzicht incorrect!

    Er heeft in het hybride tijdperk nog nooit een RB het podium gehaald in Monza. Als Verstappen hier kan winnen zonder vreemde gebeurtenissen, is de RB duidelijk de snelste auto. Voorlopig lijkt Mercedes hier toch echt de favoriet, zoals ze bij ongeveer de helft van de circuits waren dit seizoen.

      @RBH, daar zeg je wat: mercedes was favoriet op de helft van de circuits. Ondertussen heeft Red Bull 8 overwinningen tegen 4 van Mercedes. En zonder crash in Silverstone had mercedes er waarschijnlijk 3 gehad. Max is meestal realistisch. En als hij zegt dat het van details gaat afhangen wordt het interessant.
