Milieu-primeur voor Franse Grand Prix

De Franse Grand Prix heeft een grote primeur te pakken. De organisatie is namelijk de eerste Grand Prix organisator geworden die een drie sterren milieucertificering heeft gekregen van de FIA. Hiermee geeft de FIA aan dat ze zien dat de Fransen er alles aan doen om het evenement zo te laten verlopen dat het geen last is voor het milieu.

Dit jaar nam de organisatie veel maatregelen die goed zijn voor het milieu. Zo gebruiken ze biobrandstof als er ergens energie vandaan moet komen en hebben ze plasticverpakkingen in de ban gedaan. Het ligt allemaal in lijn met de plannen van de Formule 1 om in 2025 duurzame evenementen te kunnen organiseren en om in 2030 klimaatneutraal te zijn.

Het is dan ook goed nieuws voor de sport. In een persbericht laat FIA-president Jean Todt weten verheugd te zijn met het nieuws: "De milieucertificering is een belangrijke standaard waar we de duurzaamheid mee meten bij alle motorsport en al zijn belanghebbenden. Ik ben blij om te zien hoeveel commitment er is en hoeveel acties er zijn ondernomen bij de Franse Grand Prix die hebben geleidt tot het drie sterren niveau. Baanbrekende innovaties zijn altijd al onderdeel van autoracen."

Ik heb uit betrouwbare bron vernomen dat er tijdens het DutchGP weekend minder CO2 uitstoot is geweest dan dat er tijdens een normaal weekend in Zandvoort met zulk mooi weer zou zijn geweest.

    Het blijkt dat de Franse zandhagedis totaal geen last heeft van het circuit, en de rugstreeppad aldaar vindt de strepen naast de baan helemaal geweldig.
    Er waren wel een paar gorilla's met klachten maar daar schijnen ze een oplossing voor te hebben.

    Heb eigen bedrijf en ben gecertificeerd.
    Ben tot de conclusie gekomen dat fraude zeer gemakkelijk is.
    Niet meten is niet weten.
    Er voor zorgen dat alles op papier klopt.
    En eventueel als dat niet zo is de resultaten aanpassen.
    Baas in eigen keuken.
    Laat inspecteur maar bewijzen dat het niet zo is.

      Helemaal met je eens hoor, maar je moet ergens beginnen en wat echt wel helpt bij dit soort evenementen is statiegeld bekers. Dit jaar hier in Leiden bij Leidens Ontzet scheelde dat echt heel veel afval. Natuurlijk liggen er nog blikjes ed. Maar het begin is er, straks statiegeld op de blikjes en dan zul je dat ook weer minder zien.
