Beslissende Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi gratis te zien voor elke Nederlander

Aankomend weekend staat de seizoensontknoping in Abu Dhabi op het programma. Titelrivalen Max Verstappen en Lewis Hamilton zullen elkaar nog één keer het vuur aan de schenen leggen in hun bloedstollende titelstrijd. De laatste race van het jaar is tevens de laatste race bij Ziggo Sport en daar mag iedereen van mee genieten.

Ziggo heeft namelijk besloten dat de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi voor iedereen in Nederland gratis te zien zal zijn. Dat betekent dat de kanalen van de betaalzender voor ieder huishouden open zullen gaan voor het aankomende titel weekend.

Iedereen die geen Ziggo klant is zal hierdoor kunnen kijken naar de zenders van Ziggo Sport Totaal. Dat betekent ook dat de Formule 1-gezichten van Ziggo op deze manier afscheid kunnen nemen van het Nederlandse publiek. De zender heeft voor 2022 de uitzendrechten immers niet meer in handen. De koningsklasse van de autosport is vanaf volgend jaar te zien bij de streamingsdienst Viaplay van het Scandinavische NENT.
