Max Verstappen en Sergio Perez lieten afgelopen seizoen een hecht duo te kunnen vormen. Perez hielp regelmatig zijn teamgenoot Verstappen in diens jacht op de wereldtitel. Ook de band met de rest van het team was hecht en dat voelde waarschijnlijk als thuiskomen voor familieman Perez.

De Mexicaan bracht voor de pandemie regelmatig familieleden mee naar het circuit. Tijdens het afgelopen seizoen keerde zijn familieleden weer terug in de paddock. Ook zijn zoontje was afgelopen seizoen enkele keren aanwezig op het circuit. Red Bull Racing deelt nu de beelden van de avonturen van Perez junior in de pitbox.
