Aankomende maand keren de Formule 1-coureurs weer terug op de ban. Op 23 februari begint de eerste wintertest in Barcelona en tot die tijd bereiden de coureurs zich tot in de puntjes voor. De coureurs van AlphaTauri en Ferrari hebben al een privétest achter de rug en ook Max Verstappen heeft de eerste meters al gereden.

Op social media is te zien dat Verstappen zich op het circuit van Estoril uitleeft in een GT3 Porsche. De Nederlandse Red Bull-coureur gaf de Duitse sportwagen stevig de sporen. Ook zijn vader Jos was aanwezig op het Portugese circuit. Verstappen reed met een helm-ontwerp dat veel weg heeft van het design waar zijn vader in diens loopbaan mee reed.
