Kijk live naar de presentatie van de Red Bull RB18 van Verstappen

Vandaag is de grote dag dat Red Bull Racing en Max Verstappen de RB18 presenteren. De kersverse wereldkampioen zal het doek van zijn nieuwe wagen afhalen, waarmee hij dit jaar zijn titel wil verdedigen en hoopt te prolongeren.

Hoe laat presenteert Red Bull de RB18?

De livestream zal om 16:45 starten met de presentatie die om 17:00 uur Nederlandse tijd zal beginnen. Je kunt deze onder andere hieronder bekijken via de video.

Hoewel de nieuwe kleurstelling en het ontwerp te zien zijn, zal Red Bull zeker niet alles prijs geven. Zoals wel vaker is gebeurd in de voorgaande jaren presenteren F1-teams vaak een computer gesimuleerde foto, genaamd 'render'. Bovendien zijn de topteams uitstekend in staat om alle geheimen voor zichzelf te houden en zal er ook niet meteen getest worden met de specificatie waarmee men in Bahrein aan de start zal staan.

    Je zal met dit nieuwe concept toch zoveel mogelijk willen testen en niet in Bahrein voor verrassingen komen te staan.
    Het zandzakken zal nu een stuk minder makkelijk gaan aldus Zak B.

      klopt, maar eken vandaag maar niet op te veel hoor. hoe hij er echt uitziet ga je pas in Spanje zien, en in Bahrein. ik ben wel benieuwd naar de basis vorm.

      Nee, vandaag niet,maar in de tekst staat dat ze niet meteen gaan testen met de specificatie waarmee ze aan de start verschijnen in Bahrein.
      Verstoppertje spelen tijdens de test dagen zal nu gewoon minder makkelijk gaan.
      Brawn ging in 2009 als de brandweer en de concurrentie stond erbij en keek ernaar met de handen in het haar.

      Dus ik zeg: het wordt met de tests weer Maximaal Verstoppen.

      t is toch vooral leuk om een eerste indruk te krijgen van de nieuwe auto's. Er zal vast nog veel veranderen en verborgen blijven, maar je gaat nu wel zien wat je dit jaar ongeveer kunt verwachten qua looks. Vindingen als een dubbele of geblazen diffuser of bv een f-duct, daar zie je aan de buitenkant niet veel van. Dus ook al presenteren ze nu een basis auto, juist dit jaar is dat wel erg interessant om te zien.
