Perez onthult nieuw helmontwerp voor aankomend seizoen

Veel coureurs maken vandaag al kennis met hun nieuwe bolides. Op het asfalt van Barcelona zetten veel teams beide coureurs in op deze eerste testdag van de eerste testweek van het nieuwe seizoen. Het team van Red Bull Racing is op dit gebied een vreemde eend in de bijt, Max Verstappen rijdt vandaag immers de gehele dag.

Dat betekent dat Sergio Perez morgen achter het stuur van de nieuwe Red Bull zal kruipen. Hij zal dan echter gaan rijden met een nieuw helmdesign. De Mexicaan deelde op social media een gelikt filmpje waarin hij zijn nieuwe hoofddeksel aan het publiek laat zien. Vanzelfsprekend is de Mexicaanse vlag weer prominent aanwezig op de helm. Achterop het beschermingsmiddel prijkt een opvallende tekst: Never Give Up.
