Viaplay vandaag gelanceerd, speciale Verstappen documentaire beschikbaar

Vandaag is een grote dag voor Viaplay. De Scandinavische streamingsdienst wordt vandaag gelanceerd in Nederland en dat is belangrijk nieuws voor de Formule 1-kijker. De dienst heeft immers de uitzendrechten van de Formule 1 in handen voor het komende seizoen. Daarnaast komen ze met nog veel meer Formule 1-content.

Vanaf vandaag kan men naar de series, sporten, films en documentaires kijken bij Viaplay. Volgende week beleven ze hun vuurdoop voor het Formule 1-publiek. Dan zenden ze namelijk de gehele tweede testweek in Bahrein uit met Nederlands commentaar. Dit wordt verzorgd door het nieuwe commentaarduo Nelson Valkenburg en Melroy Heemskerk. Maar er is veel meer Formule 1-content te zien.

Regerend wereldkampioen Max Verstappen sloot recent namelijk een exclusieve deal met Viaplay-eigenaar NENT. Deze deal zou moeten leiden tot exclusieve content voor de abonnees van de streamingsdienst. Vandaag komt met met de eerste productie vanuit deze samenwerking: de documentaire 'Verstappen-Lion Unleashed'. Daarnaast heeft Amber Brantsen een gesprek gevoerd met internationale analisten Mika Häkkinen, David Coulthard en Tom Kristensen.

      Ik heb een keer een uitgebreid artikel over Verstappen gelezen uit het NRC en moest ik een keer verplicht die Ziggo-docu bij een maat uitzitten; dat vind ik wel genoeg info over de fam. Verstappen. ;-)

    Ik ga een maandje ViaPlay en F1 TV naast elkaar uitproberen en dan de knoop doorhakken. Beiden zijn goedkoper dan Ziggo Sport Totaal waar ik vorige jaar €15 per maand voor betaalde.

    Vind het wel jammer dan geen van beide 4K streams aanbieden. ViaPlay heeft als voordeel dat er ook een app is voor LG televisies en je bij KPN de Formule 1 via een normaal tv kanaal kan bekijken.

    De docu is een aanfluiting van 40m, meer van alles wat ziggo al uitgezonden heeft. De nieuwe ronde tafel voelt prettig en het engels van Amber valt mee wat een ergenis scheelt

    En nu maar afwachten of ze de zaken op orde hebben voor de 1e race.. En niet zoals, F1TV in het begin niet genoeg capaciteit hadden waardoor de stream doodleuk niet werkte of heel slecht.. Men lijkt altijd veel te conservatief met het inkopen van capaciteit voor dit soort nieuwe diensten..

    Vanaf vandaag kun je dus SIMPEL in ‘Mijn Menu’ je abonnement regelen bij KPN, maar zodra ìk ‘Zenderpakketten aanklik krijg ik een foutmelding.

    Ik heb vandaag de inloggegevens van ViaPlay gekregen (gewoon de app, zonder bijkomstigheid van een provider) en dat werkt perfect.
    App op mijn smartTV, inloggegevens invullen en kijken maar!
    Zit nu de "Season Shakedown F1" te kijken, een mooi verslag van de eerste testsessies.
