Beeltenis Ricciardo schittert op trams in Melbourne

Dit jaar staat de Australische Grand Prix voor het eerst sinds 2019 weer op de Formule 1-kalender. De race in Melbourne kon door de corona-pandemie niet doorgaan in 2020 en 2021. In 2020 werd de race zelfs amper een dag voor de start van de eerste vrije training afgelast. Nu is de wedstrijd echter terug.

De Australiërs kunnen in ieder geval niet wachten op de terugkeer van de koningsklasse van de autosport. In april is het zover en de organisatie van de Grand Prix doet er alles aan om de wedstrijd aan de man te brengen. In Melbourne rijden er dan ook trams rond met een wel heel bijzondere livery. De trams zijn namelijk gehuld in de kleuren van de Australische Grand Prix en ook de beeltenis van thuisrijder Daniel Ricciardo siert het voertuig.
