Verstappen trapt persconferenties af, Horner en Wolff weer duo

Het nieuwe Formule 1-seizoen gaat weer bijna van start, morgen draaien de heren coureurs de baan op voor de eerste twee vrije trainingen. Traditioneel gezien begon het weekend altijd op donderdag met de zogenaamde mediadag waar de coureurs moesten opdraven voor interviews en persconferenties. Dit jaar ligt dit echter iets anders.

Vanaf dit seizoen vinden de persconferenties namelijk niet langer plaats op de donderdag maar op vrijdagochtend. Vorig jaar verschenen de coureurs nog in duo's voor de internationale pers maar dat is dit jaar ook anders. De coureurs verschijnen nu in vier groepjes van vijf voor de pers. Regerend wereldkampioen Max Verstappen trapt de persconferenties morgen af met Guanyu Zhou, Charles Leclerc, Mick Schumacher en Lando Norris. Ze beginnen om 11:30 lokale tijd, dat is 09:30 Nederlandse tijd.

Op de zaterdag is het de beurt aan de teambazen om te babbelen met de internationale media. Ferrari-teambaas Mattia Binotto en Honda-kopstuk Masashi Yamamoto trappen dan af. Christian Horner en Toto Wolff mogen weer voor vuurwerk gaan zorgen, de concullega's zijn het tweede duo.

    Toto en horner weer even bij elkaar zetten. alle 2 lachen als een boer met kiespijn denk ik. en elkaar omhoog proberen te praten.

    Horner:´it zeggen ze elk jaar´

    Einde persconferentie. max zal wel gewoon weer relaxt er bij zitten en zeggen ´we gaan het wel zien haha´.

      Gewoon weer een saaie boel. Als LM werkelijk denkt dat Horner en Wolff zo gaan reageren zoals ze individueel doen tegen de pers, dan zouden ze het meteen wegdraaien, of met een heleboel 'piepjes' moeten censureren.

      Dat wordt een nek aan nek persco tussen Max en Lando met Charles er meteen achter binnen drs-afstand.
      Verder naar achteren houdt Zhou lang stand tegen Mick maar dan geeft toch de F1-ervaring van Schumacher de doorslag.

      Al met al - en tegen de verwachtingen in - een bijzonder enerverende openingspersco van seizoen 2022…
